Honeywell GasAlertQuattro end of life notice
It has been over six months since Honeywell announced that its popular rugged handheld gas detector, the GasAlertQuarttro, would no longer be available to order after December 1st 2023.
However, just days from the deadline, Honeywell said it will continue to fulfil GasAlertQuattro orders into December 2023, but subject to availability.
Furthermore, and also subject to availability, Honeywell has noted that service, spares and accessories for the GasAlertQuattro will be available for two years after its EOL date.
Replacement instruments
Honeywell offers a variety of portable gas detection instruments, including the Honeywell BW Icon Series and the Honeywell BW Flex4.
Rugged and reliable, the Honeywell BW Icon is named for its display of simple icons for gas levels and device status. That means no live gas readings for workers to interpret and no time-consuming training. Instead, when there’s a gas alarm, the bell icon on the display will illuminate, along with an indicator next to the sensor in the alarm, so workers can quickly clear the area.
